Enjoy a relaxing day at either one of our two public,
outdoor swimming pools. These fantastic facilities are most refreshing
for those hot summer days and are heated for those cooler days.
What could be better! Harrer Pool has a large waterslide, kiddie
pool, full service concession stand, and many comfortable chaise
lounges and tables for you to utilize along with locker rooms and
showers. Oriole Pool offers many of the same amenities. The only
difference is that Oriole is home to a children’s water slide.
Harrer Pool added a 1,600 square foot spray play area to their facility
in 2004!If you would like to lock up your valuables, you will need to
provide your own lock at both pools.
Both pools offer comprehensive swimming lesson programs in the
mornings, evenings and weekends for levels beginner through advanced.
Parent/Tot and Parent/Infant classes are also offered for you and
your child to spend some quality time together, while acclimating
your child to water. Registration for these swimming classes is
held in the summer.
Harrer and Oriole pools offer season passes to residents
of Morton Grove, and non- residents. We also offer limited pool
punch passes,
which entitle the holder to 6 visits to either pool. There are daily
admission rates into both pool facilities as well.
All pool passes may be purchased at Prairie View Community Center
at 6834 Dempster Street, Morton Grove. If renewing your membership
from last summer, you may mail or fax your registration in. This
will save you a trip to the Community Center. Any renewals for
pool passes purchased prior to last season, will have to be done
in person so a new photo may be taken. Our fax number is 847/965/4100.
