The Morton Grove Park District offers a variety of camp programs in the summer for children ages 3 and up. Camps are based on age and grades entering in the fall. Make plans to spend your summer with us. Registration for summer camp programs begins with the delivery of the spring brochure which usually happens on the first Monday in February.
Note: Camp Registration will close at 5pm the Thursday before the start of the next session.
Kiddie Kamp-Ages 4 & 5
Designed for preschoolers ages 4 and 5, this camp offers opportunities for socialization, special events, structured playtime, crafts, singing, outdoor water play and lots of fun. Each week has a theme and your child brings a lunch to camp every day. Children must be toilet trained and be the correct age by September 1st.
Junior Camp - Kindergarten-2nd Grade
2012 Junior Camp Welcome Letter
This camp is geared for kids ages 5-7 years old and features arts and crafts, games, songs, outside play and special events. Additional activities include swimming at Oriole Pool on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (weather permitting). On Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, children travel to the Morton Grove Public Library once and on a field trip once each session. Children must be going into the appropriate grade level on September 1, 2012
Camp Mor Gro - 3rd through 5th Grade

This action packed program is planned to reveal new experiences to campers. Every session includes activities such as structured games, singing, arts and crafts, cookouts, special events, weekly field trips and swimming at Harrer Pool 4 days a week. Field trips are usually on a Friday. Children must be going into the appropriate grade level on September 1, 2012
Teen Times - 6th through 8th Grade
If your teen is ready to travel and have some fun then this is the camp for him/her. This active camp is open to youth entering grades 6th - 8th grade. Teen Times camp offers a wide variety of activities such as structured games, two field trips per week, special events, sports and swimming at Oriole Pool three afternoons a week (weather permitting). Field trips are usually on Wednesdays and Fridays. Children must be going into the appropriate grade level on September 1, 2012
Leaders in Training Program
If you enjoy being around children and are interested in getting experience working with kids then this program is for you. This is a great opportunity for students in 7th - 10th grade to learn about camp counseling. Interested youths should contact Liz Goodwin at 847-965-1200. Rise N Shine Program
Beginning at 7am each day, the park district provides a before camp program for campers in grades K-8. Staff keep your child involved in low-key activities until the start of their respective camp. At approximately 8:45am, park district staff begin escorting campers to their regular camp program. A cereal breakfast is included. NOTE: There are separate programs for K-2 and grades 3-8. There is an additional fee for this program.
Extended Care Program
Need care beyond the regular camp time? Campers K-8 are transported from their camp each day to the Extended Care program. Daily snack is provided and campers can choose from a variety of activities such as sports, crafts, board games and more. This program ends at 6pm each day. NOTE: There are separate programs for K-2 and grades 3-8. There is an additional fee for this program.
