Santa Comes to Town
Santa will be riding through the streets of Morton Grove on the
first or second Sunday of December beginning at 12 noon passing
out candy to all good little girls and boys. Information can be
found in our Winter Brochure posted on this web site.
Letters to Santa
When Christmas comes, Santa needs to know who has been naughty
and nice. Kids can write a letter to Santa to let him know how
good you have been and what you are hoping for under the tree on
Christmas morning. One of Santas elves will be picking up the letters
sometime in December. Please mail your letter (and include a self-addressed
envelope) to:

Polar Express
Travel along with the Morton Grove Park District as we venture
on a memorable Metra train ride. Enjoy the ride as a storyteller
reads the magical story, "Polar Express" by Chris Van
Allsburg. Santa will await your arrival at the North Pole and then
join us aboard the train for milk and cookies. Due to the high
popularity of this event, it will be listed in the Fall Brochure
posted on this web site in early August.
Family Fun Nights
Bring your family to the Prairie View Community Center for 2 to
3 evenings of family fun! Enjoy organized games and activities.
There is no admission fee however, proof of residency is required
at check- in. Parents must accompany ALL children. This is a great
opportunity to spend time with the kids in an enjoyable and active
environment. Family Nights will be in January, February and March
(schedule permitting) and are listed in the Winter Brochure that
is posted on this web site in mid November.
Dads & Daughters Night
Ladies, spend a special evening with your Dad. Dinner, dancing
and fun make this a night to remember. This event is held on a
Saturday evening once a year in early February at the Prairie View
Community Center for Kindergarten through 5th graders and their
dads. This event will be listed in the Winter Brochure that is
posted on this web site in mid November.
Mother Son Sport Night
Throw on those sports jerseys and join us for a friendly night
of competition, between moms and sons. Each couple will keep a
scorecard and compete in a basketball shoot-out, baseball throw,
putting, soccer kick, football pass and more. Dinner will be served.
This event is held once a year on a Saturday evening in early March
at the Prairie View Community Center. This event will be listed
in the Winter Brochure that is posted on this web site in mid November.
